I still find it hard to accept this, and yet times I do after seeing her look so peaceful and happy when I said my goodbyes before cremation on Thursday. It's like a twillight zone, and she deserves so much. So here for now is what I texted my friends and family to let them know on Tuesday, along with a link to the picture which accompanied that message:
here is the penultimate picture of my beautiful faithy baby who passed away this morning. Faith was having an op 2 remove lumps caused by an unknown problem. she was 2 b spayed also in an effort 2 stop the problem. as they came 2 this 2nd part of the op she was lost due 2 the anesthetic. it seems so wrong that one that could love life + as happy as she could b lost. she was never in any pain, at least her problem can't cause any now. she helped me so much in a difficult part of my life. i owe her so much. the moment she was in ur company it was like a warm wave of happiness washed over u. sweet, cheeky + incredibly loving, i'm going 2 miss u so. i'm told she had a happy life + i hope it was so. i'm so sorry to lose u my adorable friend. your warmth + love will live forever in my heart. sleep well sweetie. make sure u + ni take care of each other. miss you so much already. all our love mummy + anya xxxxxx

I kept meaning to update and thank everyone for the messages for Ni's anniversary of passing. Time is passing so quickly, I feel a bit lost with things atm. But I really, really appreciate those messages. They went in a card that was put on her grave. I now have the cards on her grave as it needs to be prepared for Faith to be next to her, but we both appreciate them so so much. I was deeply touched by your words and I wish I had updated you all sooner.
